Reducing the risk of stroke in The Centre For Health Reform

cfr (6)

In The Centre For Health Reform more than 6,000 people in the expected atrial fibrillation (AF) population are ’missing’ – living with a potentially life threatening condition. The mission of BP+ is to find them before a stroke happens to them.

Kay Fice is a Surrey County Council employee whose life may have been saved because she signed up for one of our BP+ blood pressure and AF check. Like so many people in Surrey, she had no idea she had a condition that could have led to a severe stroke or even death. As Kay says: “If you get the chance to go and have the test – please take it. It could actually save your life.”

The Centre For Health Reform is providing the BP+ checks in workplaces, some community pharmacies and through volunteers. Find out more here.
